PrePalate surgery questions

I am trying to prepare a list of questions for the plastic
surgeon as we are due to have our child's palate closed in a few
months. Any suggestions on things that I shld ask?? Karyn

My son si going to undergo palate repair in May and I can
share a few questions that I have for my surgeon. My friend
recently had her daughters repaired and they were unable to close
it all the wya. i thought that was the point, so that will
definately be a question at my next visit. I am also interested
in knowing how if may affect his eating habits and will he need
to leard any new breathing patterns. Anyway, I may not be
helping, but these are my main concerns. Sincerely Kara
