From a Pretty 40 year old Former Patient

As an infant in 1958, I underwent corrective surgery for a
cleft lip at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY. My surgeon's name
was Dr. Mark Wong, whom my mother said was quite celebrated for
work he did on Korean War veterans. Does anyone know if there is
the slightest possibility that he is still alive?

I also want to comment that for many years, I've wanted to
know what I looked like at birth (my parents had no photos of me
until I was several months old, "Frankly Janis, you weren't
that attractive"). I was very pleased to have the
opportunity to see my condition at last.

Hi, I do not know of your surgeon personally, however, I
printed out your discussion post for my sister who lives in
Amsterdam (near Albany) and frequently deals with hospitals in
the area. She is very social and knows lots of health-care
practicianers. If she hears of anyone who knows his whereabouts,
I will place another post. my email in case you have other info
