Prosthesis/Future for Adult

Postby Ganelle » Sun Jul 12, 1998 9:10 am

Adult, successfully worn prothesis, now teeth have root
canals/concered about the future should teeth fail. Consults say
no surgery at my age of 49 and gap is too wide to bridge anyway.
Any information out there?

I am 39, with unilateral cleft lip and palate. Two years ago I
had open rhinoplasty and bone grafting. I had a bridge made that
looks great. Though the graft didn't take and I tried skin
grafting twice. Now next week I get my new palate appiance to
cover the communication thats left. It may be that this is the
solution for you too. An obturator and a bridge combination.
