Members and Guests,
You may have noticed some occasional and inappropriate postings.
We identified that some are created by BOTs (automated agents with sole purpose to flood the forum with ads). Others are individuals with intention to SPAM (flood) the Smiles forum with unrelated postings or responses.
First and foremost, we wanted to apologize for this occurrence. We also wanted to notify you that we are in the process of addressing this issue.
Although currently our moderators remove these postings manually, we have a number of methods to address this matter. In the next few days, we will be modifying the forum to only accept postings from registered users (members).
We understand that this may be a concern for some users. However, once you register, the forum provides an option to remember your session every time you access the Smiles forum from a specific computer. This way, your computer will be logging on automatically every time you visit the Smiles forum. Please make sure to disable this feature and remember to logoff if you are using a public computer.
Additionally, registration will provide you with a number of benefits such as the ability to edit your postings, view additional forums specific to members, ability to post your own story (future availability), and use Smile's internal messaging system to mention a few.
Your comments are greatly appreciated.
